Welcome to the Japanese American Living Legacy organization's website. JA Living Legacy was started in 2005 to help preserve the memories and experiences of the Japanese American community through the capturing of oral histories. It is our firm belief that the Japanese American experience is an important part of this country's history and must be shared to educate all Americans.
We are a California non-profit organization specializing in the areas of veterans, agriculture and the community at large. Please feel free to contact us. We are pleased to offer our services to the Japanese American community.
Each member of our staff volunteers time to work in this organization; there are no paid employees in JA Living Legacy. All proceeds received from our fund-raising activities are used to defray the costs of operations and travel.
